Aiming for excellence

SONOMA aims for excellence in every aspect, providing our guests with fresh and delicious food, wonderful wines from California wine country and superb personalized service in a relaxed and pleasing environment. Underlying everything we do is a commitment to good service for our customers, whether it is a romantic dinner for two or a party for 50.

The Ruby Room

Located on the second floor of SONOMA is THE RUBY ROOM, cocktail lounge with a storied history that traces its lineage back to the old days of Shibuya, when it was not uncommon to find visiting rockers and DJs such as Tricky, Massive Attack or Richard D. James of Aphex Twin lounging by the bar or manning the decks. THE RUBY ROOM is well-outfitted with a bumping sound system accomodating both DJed and live music, a full service bar offering over 1,000 different cocktails, wines and beers, and a plush interior with red sofas and a beautiful shimmering bar counter made from 25,000 tiny square mirrors. Drop in to the Ruby's famous open mic night, RUBY TUESDAYS (and now Wednesdays, too.) Whenever it is you stop by THE RUBY ROOM, you'll find one thing is consistent — good people, good music and delicious drinks.

Diners at SONOMA will receive free admission to THE RUBY ROOM on weekends.
